For Immediate Release

April 24, 2017 | TORONTO, ON – The Love Africa Project is a non-profit corporation that aims to end open defecation, beginning in Ghana, West Africa and they’ve just launched their new website. The organisation was founded in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in March 2017.

On the website people can find out more about what open defecation and urination is and why it’s important to do what we can so that people have access to toilets and sinks. The Love Africa Project website will also provide updates on their plans to build public, communal washrooms, equipped with flushing toilets and sinks that will ensure people can practice safe, improved hygiene and sanitation practices.

“I ran into a huge pile of garbage along the beach with animals and people at the base of the garbage pile defecating…” – Kwame Ben Eden

The Love Africa Project website will be a place to get informed and get involved by donating to help make the washroom build a reality in December 2017.

The Love Africa Project wants to build access to toilets and by extension build dignity.
