What kind of organisation is the Love Africa Project?
The Love Africa Project is a not-for-profit corporation, based in the Etobicoke area of Toronto, whose mission is to help end open defecation and urination in Africa, beginning in Ghana.
How can I donate?
Donations can be made via our website on the 'Donate' page, where donors can give their gift using PayPal. You don't need to have a PayPal account to make a donation on this platform. PayPal's internationally trusted and recognised security is why we chose it as a way to receive donations, ensuring that our donors' financial information remains private. We don't have access to any of your personal banking or credit card information.
In addition, donations can be made via cheque or money order, payable to the 'Love Africa Project.' Cheques or Money Orders can be mailed to 17 Taysham Crescent, Etobicoke, Ontario M9V 1X1, Canada. Please don't mail cash.

Do I receive a charitable tax receipt when I donate?
Currently, we're not able to provide charitable tax receipts, as we're not a registered charity. We're currently working on becoming a registered charity that can issue charitable tax receipts.
When you make a donation, you'll receive an email or letter via mail detailing your gift amount and the date it was made, along with your name. This isn't an official tax receipt but is instead only for your reference.
I didn't receive a receipt for my donation.
